Hello Everybody,
This is the first in what I hope will be a long
line of RideforCancer journal updates. Only a few days left before I
depart Long Beach on my bike headed for Maine.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone that has supported RideforCancer and especially the people that helped with the Silent Auction last Saturday night. We raised over $4,500 for Breast Friends Mentor/Support Group at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. It would not have been such a big success without everyone's support. Thank you to the businesses and individuals for the wonderful donations, all of the people who showed up to bid on them, and all the friends that helped organize everything, and special thanks to my GREAT CREW. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
I hope everyone can make it to the GRAND sendoff this Saturday, April
21, at 10:00 AM at the Belmont Pier in Long Beach. Belmont Brewing Company will be
providing coffee and we will have lots of T-shirts for sale. All the
